Random Thoughts: The Girlie Girl talk and an wonder car named Nano

The first few paragraphs are not for male readers! You guys don't understand "what woman want"!! Though woman isn't that complex character! We just want a few good things in life to be happy! We want to go to shopping when we are sad! We want shopping when we are happy! We like shopping when we need something and we like shopping when we don't need anything at all!

So what will you do in a hot never ending noon to chill? Of course shopping! It's a therapy to feel good! It will cheer you up! By God's grace I had a whole day to chill in the middle of the week!! No good films to watch, so I just drove to Mani Square Mall with a friend.

First of all it has a great parking place! It's cooler than air-conditioned area. I browsed through all the shops in all the levels! Specially the shoe sections, I have some kind of fixation for foot wares! And though I don't need any more of them and don't have any more space to stack them up I bought three pairs! It felt so good, after coming back home I wore all three of them and walked all over my apartment!

From Random Thoughts

Walking and browsing items is real hard job! After gobbling a MacDonald Wrap and a burger with cold coffee I went to Starmark. I love the smell of books! I revisited my childhood! Bought two pens (though I don't write, only type!), a pen stand (for two pens! I should be ashamed of myself!). I tried to bought two Tintin comic books (though I have the full collection in my laptop!). My friend gave me so hard stare, I got scared and returned them!

Then straight to West Side! Not much self-indulgence there! Only a Revlon mascara and an eyeliner. They gave me a set of coffee mugs free with them! My friend laughed his guts out to see that, two little pencil like things and two big mugs free with them! They should give those pencils free with the fine crockery, he said! Shut up! What do you understand about make-up?! It's a girl thing!

And I saw the Nano there! A lady was shouting in the watch counter behind. She bought an one lac rupee watch which was damaged!

From Random Thoughts

Nano is something which I never expected it to be! It has amazing height! Ingress and egress is so easy! Leg space is very good both at driver's seat and in rear! Shoulder space is amazing! Two fat people can easily sit in front and their shoulders will never touch! The top model was in display. It has a price tag of 1.85lacs. In that price it's a steal! People will probably come to window shopping one day and buy Nano in an impulse! The design of the car is outstanding, it's so so spacious! The front seats have more head room than any other city cars!

The catch? Well you see, with price cuts you loose a few things! The plastic quality is bad, look very cheap. It's not a hatchback as it has no hatch. Very little space for luggage. Engine not very powerful. But you can't ask for more in that price! Period! Hats off to Mr Ratan Tata! Nano is an wonder car! It's much much better than Alto or 800!

When Nano plant left from West Bengal I felt so sad. Millions of young people feel the same. They don't speak out. Because we like to see things in political colours. If we speak our mind, people will conclude we support this party or that. An automobile revolution left Bengal. A generation lost something so precious, probably they will understand it's value after 40-50 years! Automobile industry shaped the course of US. It changed the future of Japan. If you have doubt read history. And we kicked out all aspirations, dreams, hopes of a generation out of our soil for petty politics. Shame on us.

At the end of the day I want to throw the sandals I bought...don't know whether they will hit or miss the "mugs" who deserve it.
